Wow have we been busy!

We had a group of around fifty folk from the Military History Society come on Saturday, 4 September 2021. They were very impressed with the Nungarin Museum and enjoyed their lunchtime feast of burgers, scones and orange cake.

The Museum has registered with Centrelink

The Nungarin Museum will be a partnership venue for volunteers (sometimes this is a requirement for some types of Centrelink payments). We look forward to welcoming a few new folk to our museum through this scheme. 

The Campfire Dinner Experience – join us fireside for dinner and a cuppa as the sun sets through the Salmon Gum trees. We’re serving homestyle cooking that includes damper and desert as we share an original ‘letter home’ written by an ANZAC to a mate.

The Nungarin Museum has so many things on the go at the moment! Can you believe we have had FIVE visiting volunteers from out of the area come and lend a hand for a period of time in the last week? 

These people come as strangers and leave as friends.
