Where exactly is Nungarin?

That’s easy. It’s about 40kms north of Merredin and around a 3-hour drive east from Perth.

There’s excellent accommodation facilities at both McCorry’s Old Hotel and The Woolshed Hotel. And if you fancy bringing your home with you, caravans are welcome at Nungarin Caravan Park, Mangowine Homestead and McCorry’s Old Hotel. Just click on the links to find out more.

This year marks the 105^th anniversary of the Gallipoli landings. And until very recently, this year I’d planned on adding to my ANZAC Day experiences by attending a special wreath laying service in Nungarin.

We’ve done it! The inaugural Vintage Rally and Searchlight Party was held on February 29^th. We had a wonderful turnout of nearly 500 paying visitors, plus children, volunteers and exhibitors.
